Minnesota Secretary of State Mary Kiffmeyer is distributing grant awards totaling about $35 Million to improve access to polling places for voters with disabilities and to provide statewide voter equality. The funding for the grants is derived from the federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and will be applied to new election equipment.
