Benton County Corrections is a State Contract Office providing Court Services to Benton County. The mission of Benton County Corrections along with the Minnesota Department of Corrections is to hold offenders accountable and offer opportunities for change while restoring justice for victims and contributing to a safer Minnesota. Corrections staff accomplish this by fostering community partnerships, optimizing best practices, creating a respectful diverse culture, utilizing effective communication and strategic and efficient use of resources.

Benton County Corrections provides supervision to juvenile and adult misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor offenders. Services include, but are not limited to, electronic monitoring, coordinating placement of offenders into appropriate community and residential programs, random drug testing, and completing necessary reports to assist the Court such as pre-dispositional reports, probation violation reports, discharge reports, progress reports, alcohol problems assessments, domestic abuse assessments and bail studies. Additional services include the completion of restitution studies, supervision and operation of a juvenile work crew, referral of offenders to selected educational and treatment based programs based on their individual needs, attendance at staffings in the schools and residential programs, restitution collection and completion of the Domestic Violence Inventory.
