Overview

The Benton County Extension Office, as an "extension" of the University of Minnesota - provides research based education and information in areas of Agriculture, Horticulture, Food and Nutrition, Youth & 4H, Home and Family, the Environment, and Community Development.

Extension works in partnership with other public and private entities and builds the capacity of individuals and communities to address issues related to needs and goals.

The County Extension office is funded by the county and makes use of U of M Extension Regional and Campus resources that are supported through state and federal funds.
