A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer system capable of capturing, storing, analyzing, and displaying geographically referenced information, or, data identified according to location. The power of a GIS comes from the ability to relate different information in a spatial context to reach a conclusion about this relationship.
Benton County uses maps, aerial photos, and GIS on a daily basis for many county functions. We have made the following information available online to the public.
Interactive GIS Mapping (GeoMoose)
Look up information about a particular location in the County on this interactive map. Turn on and off layers in the countywide map. You do not need a password to use this site.
Some maps are available on-line in PDF format. Any other non-standard map requests can be filled, but will require a fee to be paid in accordance with the Benton County Fee Schedule.
