The Benton County Recorder's office is responsible for recording, indexing, maintaining and displaying records of legal documents for all real estate records in Benton County.

The office accepts for recording and issues copies of military discharges, state and federal tax liens as well as birth, death and marriage records.

The office also issues passports and registers your notary signature.

We request that you come in no later than 4 PM when applying for a marriage certificate or a passport. There is a lot of paperwork to complete and we want to make sure that all the info is correct. We do not want to make you feel hurried.
