Beginning Monday May 2 (weather permitting) road work will resume on County Road 58 (Town Hall Road). The work zone is from CSAH 4 (65th Street) north to County Road 43 (85th Street). The road will be open to local residents, but traffic will see excavation equipment doing pipe work adjacent to the traveled way. At various times motor graders and compactors will be reshaping the road. Bituminous surfacing is scheduled the week of May 16. Be sure to slow down and watch for workers and equipment. Tri-County is coordinating an effort to recycle plastic boat wrap this spring. The material will be disposed of at the McLeod County Material Recycling Facility in Hutchinson at a cost of $.02 per pound.
