Development Code Update

The Department of Development is working on a number updates and changes to Ordinance No. 185, the current Development Code.  The updates will eventually result in a full repeal and replacement of the Development Code.  We will begin by holding public hearings starting Dec. 12, 2019 at the Planning Commission on sections of the Code that are ready for public review.  The process will result in several public hearings at the Planning Commission level before the final public hearing at the County Board for full repeal and replacement.  Each section that is to be amended will be posted on this page and available at the Department of Development prior to the public hearing that it will be reviewed at.
