Benton County CARES Funds for Non-Profits

Non-profit organizations located in Benton County or non-profits serving Benton County residents may apply for grant funding from the County’s allocation of federal CARES funds.  CARES stands for the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act.  Applicants must demonstrate a direct financial impact related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Examples include income losses due to disruptions in fundraising, or increased costs incurred to serve County residents who themselves experienced economic hardships from the COVID-19 pandemic. 


Important points to stress:

>eligible non-profits must provide services to Benton County residents

>CARES grants may cover losses or increased expenses from the period of March 1, 2020 thru the date of your application (grant funds may not be used for future losses or costs)


Funding decisions will be made by the Benton County Board of Commissioners.  Applications must be received by November 10, 2020.  Funding will be awarded on a “first-come, first-served” basis until funding has been exhausted.  All required supporting document must be received with your application for your application to be considered complete.  Please direct questions to Montgomery Headley, Benton County Administrator at, or 320.968.5000.
