Lobby Doors at the Benton County Sheriff's Office Will Re-open

Benton County S.O

AUTHORITY OF SHERIFF TROY HECK

Beginning at 8:00 am on Monday, June 29th, the lobby doors at the Benton County Sheriff’s Office will re-open to the public. This will mark the return to our policy maintaining open lobby hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. People who have been exposed to COVID-19 in the preceding 14 days or those who are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms are asked to refrain from entering the building. Floor markings, reduced seating capacity, increased sanitizing, and other infection control strategies have been implemented within the lobby. All people entering the lobby are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet away from non-household members.

With the re-opening of the lobby, permit to carry applicants will be required to submit their applications to our records staff during normal business hours, as the drop box will be removed from our vestibule. In order to minimize the number of people waiting in our lobby, those wishing to visit an inmate must make an appointment 24 hours prior to arriving at our facility. Appointments to visit an inmate may be made by calling 320-968-8180.
