ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bid proposals will be received until 10:00 A.M. CST on April 7, 2023, at the Benton County Public Works Building, PO Box 247, 7752 Hwy 25 NE, Foley, MN 56329, by the Benton County Engineer, for the following projects: 

PROJECT NOs.: SAP 005-601-012, SAP 005-602-018, SAP 005-604-028, SAP 005-613-016, SAP 005-615-008, SAP 005-621-002, CP 005-045-002, CP 005-056-003, CP 005-062-003 &   CP 005-2023BO.

 LOCATION: CSAH 1, CSAH 2, CSAH 4, CSAH 8, CSAH 12, CSAH 13, CSAH 15, CSAH 21, CR 45, CR 56, & CR 62.

 TYPE OF WORK: Bituminous Mill, Reclamation, Bituminous Surfacing, Culvert Replacements, Aggregate & Striping.  

The Major Items of Work are approximately: 

26,000 Ton      Aggregate Surfacing

442,800 SY     Full Depth Reclamation

80,800 Ton      Type SP 9.5 Wearing/Non-Wearing Course Mixture

80,400 Ton      Type SP 12.5 Non-Wearing Course Mixture

8,350 LF         CAS Pipe Culvert

Proposal, Plans and Specifications may be examined and obtained for $110 at the Benton County Highway Engineers Office, PO Box 247, 7752 Highway 25 NE, Foley, MN 56329; located along TH 25, 1 mile north of TH 23 in the City of Foley.  Bids must be sealed, identified on the envelope and accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bidder's Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid and made payable to the Treasurer of Benton County.

 The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and further reserves the right to award the contract to serve the best interest of Benton County.
