Bend in the River Regional Park
The park is located 1.4 miles south of Rice on River Road (CR 55) and from Highway 10 west on 105th Street and north onto River Road to 11231 River Road Northeast. You may park at the farm site, which consists of a white farmhouse with outbuildings.
A hiking trail runs south from the farmhouse along the top of the river bluff. This land was purchased August 12, 2002 and consists of 289 acres, including 3,300 feet of undeveloped shoreline on the Mississippi River. High banks provide scenic views of a river bend, islands and adjacent 220-acre wildlife management area. View the Photo Gallery.
